At our factory, we understand that reducing waste is essential for a better tomorrow. That's why we offer a unique recycling service for the 5 and 7 day devotional candles. Our innovative system allows us to reuse the glass from the candles we sell - once the candle is finished, we pick up the glass and bring it to our factory to be washed and prepped for reuse. Discount program applicable for every 12 candles returned.
Every year, we reclaim and reuse over 650,000 candle glasses. Nearly 425,000 pounds (over 200 tons) of refuse that is being saved from a landfill.
Glass Recyling Program
1. The Devotional Candle
Manufactured by our team in Scranton PA, this devotional candle will burn for 5-7 days depending on the model you order.
2. Burn & Save
Once the appropriate days have passed, your candle should burn to the core of the glass. Save the glass from the candle.
3. Drop Off or Collect
On your next delivery, our team will collect your used glass. You can also drop it off at our warehouse in Scranton!
4. Wash, Prep, Re-Use!
Once the used glass is returned, our team will wash and prepare the glass for reuse. Soon enough, the glass will be back on our assembly line ready for a new wax pour.
Refinishing and Restoration
When a sacred piece has become tarnished or in need of repair, refinishing is a great option to maintain the sacred products sentimental value. From the initial steps to the final product, we give attention to the finest detail so that vour sacred piece is transformed back to its original brilliance
Dissembly & Repair
In order to clean the item as much as possible,
it must be disassembled. At this point, lacquer left on the metal will be removed & any repairs that can be made will be done.
Polishing
Before moving to the plating process, each piece must be buffed to remove any scratches or other imperfections. During this process, great care is taken into consideration and none of the original engraving on the item is harmed.
Plating
As soon as the article is completely polished and cleaned , it is ready for plating. We plate your items according to your specifications of 24k Gold, Silver, Brass or Nickel.
